What happens: Roadside tech dispatched. They test the battery on-site. Dead. They replace it on the spot.
What you pay: Nothing. The jump is roadside. The replacement is maintenance. Both covered.
Scenario B · Two-Week Squeal
Brakes have been making noise.
The situation: You've been ignoring the brake squeal. You know you shouldn't be.
What you do: Call (877) 483-2610. Your Car Coach books an appointment at an in-network shop near you.
What happens: Shop inspects the brakes. Pads need replacement. Coach reviews and approves the work. ACE pays the shop directly.
What you pay: Nothing for the inspection. Brake pad replacement is a covered maintenance item.
Scenario C · 200 Miles From Home
Alternator dies on a weekend trip.
The situation: Sunday afternoon. Car dies on the highway. You're 200 miles from home.
What you do: Call (833) 251-5689. Tell them where you are.
What happens: Roadside tech tows the car to a vetted local shop. ASE tech reviews the diagnosis. Coach negotiates the repair down from $720 to $580.
What you pay: Your 20% portion of the mechanical repair (~$116). The tow is free. The diagnosis is free. Lodging reimbursement is available.
